Just a thought, but I’m wondering if someone has done anything like this in a Malibu with the 7 inch display and the black and white speedometer. I can get a color one for very cheap locally so that’s why I’m asking. As long as it powers on and is functional, I don’t care if it can’t control the radio or phone. From what I can tell I think the speedometer software is separate from the radio, as I pulled the radio fuse in a identical Malibu with the 8 inch display and it worked but with limited functionality. I’m going to guess there’s some programming required, but I’m not too worried about it as I have the tools to do all that. I’m just mainly curious if it would even power on
