I have a 2011 Chevy Malibu 2.4L with 133,000 miles on it my car one day popped up with the service traction and service ESC message and then my car would shut off while I was driving almost making me get hit. I had a mechanic put a different TCM on my car and now my car will jerk when I put it in reverse and then when I put my car into drive it's very resistant and fights with me just to make it to 10 mph my dash does not work anymore to tell me my rpm's or speed I'm so fed up with this car since I've bought it I've put more money into it then what I paid for it. I'm a single mother of six and I have no other vehicle except for this piece of crap money pit they call a Chevy Malibu in my driveway. Please I need help cause GM told me to take my car into a dealership and have a diagnostic ran which is going to cost me $165 and then I'm gonna have to pay out of pocket anything that is not covered by the recalls that are on this car. I think it's all a scam to get money from people Chevy and FM should really value their customers alot better and then we may want to become a loyal and repeat customer but at this point I'm devastated and sick and tired of being sick and tired of this whole mess. If anyone has anything they can recommend that may help before I have to spend my savings that are for my kids please I'd really appreciate all the helpful knowledge. 5029366539

Done venting? Good.
It costs money to own any brand of car. They require regular maintenance and repairs and neglecting maintenance costs even more. Chevy is one of the more economical brands to own unlike most foreign brands.
Your choice of a mechanic is important also, and if they stand by their work or are even capable of quality work.
Yes, it costs you money to take it to a dealer or shop, dealers or any other shop are not a charity, the people who work there expect to get paid and have benefits for working there.
Your car is ELEVEN years old, expect repairs, it's a vehicle not a toaster.
Machines break, even space rockets that are put together by people in white suits in clean rooms don't get off the ground the first time.
Vehicle ownership is the 2nd biggest expense after home ownership in one's life.
I may sound harsh but it's real-life facts, no sugar coating here. Been there done that multiple times through the last recession in the '70's and through today.

Sorry to read of these problems. Just to remind you, we are not affiliated with GM/Chevrolet - we are just owners like you. Eleven to twelve year old cars sometimes need maintenance and repairs. Just the way it is. I have some questions to better provide any advice:

1) Did you receive paperwork indicating the diagnosis that lead to the TCM replacement?
2) If yes, did that paperwork indicate any fault codes? It might say something like "scanned for codes found P0700 U0101" etc
3) Have you performed any other repairs on this vehicle since ownership?
4) Was this vehicle purchased used?

Without that additional information, the way I see it you have a few options:
1) Take it to the dealer, pay the diagnostic and evaluate whether repairs are worth it.
2) Return to the mechanic that replaced the TCM and let them know it did not correct the issue and perhaps made it worse.
3) Share info requested above, exchange with other owners here, and get a potential fix or at least some advice giving you the best chance moving forward.

To answer your questions since I bought it about 7months ago I have purchased brand new tires for it also brakes and rotors also I have put a temperature control sensor in it a thermostat a fuel pump and a crankshaft position sensor and yes it is giving me codes here are the most recent ones

Thanks for sharing those codes and additional ownership and maintenance history. It sounds like you became the owner of someone else's problem. Some of those repairs are just maintenance - brakes, rotors, new tires... but some are certainly unexpected repairs. I am not the gen7 expert around here. I will however check into those codes and see what I see. I'll update this post with any ideas as I look a bit later today.

EDIT: one code jumped out to me right away. You have code P0335 and mention you previously replaced the crankshaft position sensor. Was that sensor relearned when it was replaced?

The crankshaft position sensor you mentioned replacing. In your most recent code pictures there is a code P0335 suggesting there is still a problem with that sensor. There are many videos online showing replacement of that sensor that ignore the programming/relearning part and I am pretty sure it needs to be programmed upon replacement. I am not suggesting this is the source of all of your problems or anything, just something that needs to be verified.

Okay so I'm lost here how do I use the dielectrical grease on my BCM connectors like where do I put it I know I only use a little bit with a little brush but where do I put it at what part of the BCM connector do I put it on

On the end of the connector that comes loose from the BCM, spread a small amount across the face of it, covering all of the small holes that the BCM terminals go into when you plug it in.

The grease is just to seal it from the environment, not to clean it or anything else. The cleaning is done prior to applying the grease.

2011 malibu LS 2.4 owned since new
I had codes for crankshaft position sensor at about 47000 miles. I replace sensor and it did not help. I replaced both (VVT) variable valve timing solenoid actuators and that fixed the codes and (check engine light). I purchased both solenoids from Rockauto for about $65.00 total in 2020. They are not very difficult to install (look on You tube for videos on installation). Sometimes code descriptions will lead to a different part problem than the display on code reader.

did you ever get it fixed? If not it sounds like your output speed sensor isn't working. Which is inside your transmission, hence why your odometer isn't working correctly, rockauto.com is a good place to look for parts. If you trust your mechanic stick with him, but also have him check connectors, it sounds more like a messed up wire. Has the transmission been open before? And which module did you get replaced, if it was the Tehcm. It needs reprogrammed. And you should ask your mechanic for old parts back as a confirmation. Make sure all connectors are re plugged in. And make sure none are frayed, the service etc and traction light leads me to believe there's a cut or ripped wire, it has happened to me when I had a wire unplugged after a repair that gave me both warnings. But I looked and seen I forgot a wire. Contact me if you have further questions. I've replaced my TEHCM because I couldn't go past 2nd gear, had all gears but 3rd to 6th. Replaced tehcm, from a good website. I can provide you with it, you send in your old one, and get your core charge back, added correct fluid and had it leveld on Jack stands and checked the fluid. Also added in a transmission cooler to help extend life of my transmission. Then towed to dealership and reprogrammed it cost me 130 at my dealership, if you have the option to shop around for chevy dealers like I did, I had 3 in my area and since I live on a border state with missouri, iowa, and Illinois, I went with the one with most availability. Just saw the jumped timing code. Make sure when you pull the vvt solenoids out, make sure there's no sparkles on them, if so it's a timing chain.
