This is my Girl's Malibu, I've been driving it lately since gas prices here in CA(She is driving my car). This is a gas saver for me. It's a 2008 1LT. Minor little mods. I am planning to do little stuff do it, nothing crazy. I hope to learn something from this forums!
At least its not stock anymore.

i really like what you did but how did you do it? what did you use?

Real easy to do, drill out the 3 rivets holding the bracket to the bumper, get the plastic push in plugs at Lowes, paint the heads to match your paint and pop them in

Nice!! I want to do this to my car and get a motorized license plate frame. I don't want to get stop for a license plate

Where in Lowes would i find these push in plugs? Are the actual car parts?..I see the reciept in the picture says GM, just don't even know where to begin looking at Lowes.

They are in the Hardware aisle where all the nuts and bolts and fasteners are kept, look for the pull out shelves that are marked automotive
