the hids worked but now when there both in they wont light up so i put the regular headlamps back in and those dont light up either does anybody kno the fuse number for the headlights or has this ever happened to anyone please help

Here's a link to the schematics for the 2008 models - very similar, almost identical.

The headlights have a fuse and relay for each side.

go back and double check and triple check all your connections... may not even be the fuse

yeah thanks guy i bleww both the left and right low beam fuse they were 10's i swapped them with the hibeams and they worked perfectly im takin it apart tomorrow now that i kno how to do evrything i think i might have croosed the wires or something hopefully i get it right tomorrow

DRL FUSE and Headlight aiming

this forum really is a lifesaver its got me through my hid process the past 18 hours and i appreciate the guys who have been helping lol i know i read it earlier i just forgot to favorite it
1) whats the fusse for the drl (so they wont come on when i put the car in drive but will come on when its dark)..like 46 or 48 or somthing and is it in the trunk or the engine bay
2)i read that you can aim the headlights with a flat head screwdriver or something can somebody walk me through that

DRL fuse is under the hood. Take off the fuse cover and it'll identify the fuse and relay.

Aiming lights is done with a screwdriver. Look for the little hole above the headlights with the hood open. Use Google to find out how best to set them.

What was the cause of the HIDs blowing both fuses? Ever discover it?

alrighttyy thanks and i was kind in a rush yesterday so i wasnt really think so when i plugged the hids into the car im almost 100% sure that i croosed a + and a + and a - and a - and before i realized i had already unplugged them so i dont know but i just did them now and there working like a charm
