Hi all, writing this to see if there is anyone out there who knows where I can get a replacement rim for my 09 LT1, which came with the 18" Chrometec clad wheels with TPS. (option code unknown, part of a package with the sunroof) Because of the crappy weather here in southeast NY state, I slid onto a curb and scratched the wheel badly, but thank god that I didn't hit it hard enough to bend it, so it is still drivable. I now have a nice gouge in my right front wheel, and I want to replace it ASAP. However, I cannot find this size and style on any website...the closest I saw was the 17" on some generic site. The GM factory site only has packages of custom 18" wheels with outrageous prices. I only need one. I am thinking I will have to go to the dealer to get this, and expecting at least a $400 hit. How close am I there? Even if it is that much, at least it will be cheaper than claiming it on my insurance in the long run, not to mention I hate knowing the chrome will peel off and look worse as time goes on (that really bothers me more). I was looking for rims a bit ago and was able to find several sources by just goggling the car wheel size and make.

Either buy from ebay or one of those generic sites. May take some time to find it. Would probably be cheaper to buy 4 aftermarket wheels than 1 factory wheel from the dealer.
