One of the first things I noticed about the ltz were the chrome door handles. i thought about getting them, but decided that i wasnt sure they would look as good on the granite car as i thought because of the large size of the door handle.
I did however like the partial chrome door handles on a lot of higher end vehicles such as lexus and mercedes.
So i decided to replicate something similiar.
I used chrome vinyl, cut strips and cut it to fit the edges as much as possible it isnt perfect but from a few feet away you can't tell that it isnt original.

i figure if i get 6 months ill be happy, i bought 30' by 6" of the vinyl for like 13 dollars so im not too worried about it

I used some flat black vinyl on my truck and it seems to be very durable. Great idea, I give it two thumbs up.

I also did the gold chevy bowties, the front and back only for now but may try the wheels at some point as well. I used black chrome vinyl to match the granite metallic color and it matches really really well. I had a hard time cutting the vinyl to fit so I will most likely redo this before too long now that i have proof of concept and i like it.
