Thanks! I was working at a chevy dealership when I bought this car. I liked the colors mainly because you don't see very many of them. Downside is, touchup paint is hard to get..

Isn't it a standard color code? If you were working there you may know better, but shouldnt it still have the spray and bottles available for a normal $20ish price if its a factory color?

I worked in sales. And yes, its U633R silver moss metallic I think. I can get it at the dealership. Im just about 40 miles from the closest dealership. Can't get it at autozone or advance.

If you call the parts dept. you can probably only go in once... I ordered a spray and a bottle and it was under $40 total. spray for any color matching I'm planning on, and then the bottle for touchups.

Kinda doubt the red jewel tintcoat is that rare. Alot of members on here have them, and I see alot. My dealer always has a few in stock. IMO I think the silver moss is the most rare.

Well, according to Compnine there were 9876 2009 Malibus painted Silver Moss.

There were 7369 2009s painted Red Jewel, and 9138 painted Gold Mist.

Apparently Silver Moss is the 3rd rarest color, at least in 2009. I've never seen a Gold Mist one at all.

Not doubting you at all, just keep in mind that site is NOT the most accurate in some respects.

I can not picture gold mist either, my guess is it is used alot for fleets?
