Our Malibu has FAR better handling then I could ever dream. Ive pushed it a little bit and it preformed very well.

It also rides very well when comparing it to my Formula and is perhaps the quietest car Ive been in a long time.

The front bumper gets scratched on curbs in parking lots because people pull way too far forward. There is no need to have your front tires on the curb. My wife has done it once and learned since but it damaged the bumper cover.

If the brakes are squeaking and you are a DIY maintence man then get some brake grease and apply it to the back side of the pads that face the calipers. Solves 99% of the noise problems with new GM vehicles because they ship them with zero grease.
