Hello all, :D

Happy to be apart of the Malibu crew! Just bought a 2011 Chevy Malibu LTZ Mocha Steel with Cocoa/Cashmere interior! Love this car!!!
Pretty pumped, this is only my 2nd new vehicle I have bought since 96' lol

I have always been a chevy dude, owning nothing but used chevy s-10s in the past. So this is the first car I would own.

Gas prices are on the rise and my 2003 s-10 4x4 ZR2 drinks the gas!

I am not sure how many people on here are disabled, but I have been in a chair all my life and can walk mildly with arm crutches or going from now trunk of the Malibu putting the wheelchair in, to the drivers seat.

I can't wait to show you all some cool pics on the hand controls they will be installing.

So I will be driving with my hands not my feet literally lol

Happy to be apart of the Malibu world. :D

Welcome to the site and congrats on your new car purchase! Most of us have had to adjust to getting in and out of the Malibu so we didn't hit our heads but with your situation, the Malibu should work for you really great since it sits a little on the low end! With this model design It should make getting in and out more easy / helpful for you! Just my opinion & thought!

It is always nice to see new people join the site and I want to wish you good luck with your new car and hope you really enjoy it!

Thanks for all the great welcomes!!

Yea its defiantly easier to get in and out of then my lifted S10 truck I traded in for this car lol

I used to run a custom shop a few years back doing air ride suspensions for mini trucks and also building lifted trucks. We were in Street trucks mag for a few install write ups, so it was nice to have the 15sec of fame haha

People used to go in the shop and freak out that a wheelchair doing is welding away haha I used to just say a truck fell on me and put me in a chair! lol

I do hope to learn more from this site and contribute the best I can!:D

I still own my little 96 s-10 mini truck with over 140k miles on it. It lays completely body, that was the biggest and longest project I have done myself, never again haha Looking to sell it now since I am not really into that minitruck scene anymore.

I love having a new car were I don't have to worry about airlines busting or getting left on the side of the road, nice to have a turn key car haha

Here is a link if you want to check out some of my minitruck pics and some mods I have done
