Hey guys new member here. Could you help me out please?

I have a 2009 Malibu LS with stock 17 in steel wheels. My question is: Can 07 Malibu SS 18's with 245 45 R18 tires fit on my car?

I have seen some talk with this tire size but never heard if it can be done with no problems or not.

Thanks for the help.

Both wheels and tires. I have the opportunity to buy but just wondering if it will fit. The bolt pattern is the same. Main q is if the wheels will fit and the tires also?

Ahhh. So you have verified that the bolt pattern and size are identical. I am no wheel and tire pro by any means but my suggestion would be to take off one of your stocks and do a side by side comparison. You are asking if the overall size of the new wheels will fit, right? I'm sure they will be close to the stocks and doubt a small difference will matter.

As long as the offset isn't too great; you shouldn't have any problem. There is only .6 of an inch difference in the circumference, and only .2 of an inch difference in the diameter (note: this is calculated using the stock LTZ size of 225/50-18). The width shouldn't be bad either as some other guys are running 245's.
