I don't believe that the previous generation Malibu's wheels can be used on the current one.

Hey guys new member here. Could you help me out please?
I have a 2009 Malibu LS with stock 17 in steel wheels. My question is: Can 07 Malibu SS 18's with 245 45 R18 tires fit on my car?
I have seen some talk with this tire size but never heard if it can be done with no problems or not.

Ahhh. So you have verified that the bolt pattern and size are identical. I am no wheel and tire pro by any means but my suggestion would be to take off one of your stocks and do a side by side comparison. You are asking if the overall size of the new wheels will fit, right? I'm sure they will be close to the stocks and doubt a small difference will matter.Both wheels and tires. I have the opportunity to buy but just wondering if it will fit. The bolt pattern is the same. Main q is if the wheels will fit and the tires also?
