I have been posting on here for about a month and a half now, which is when I purchased my car.
Previously I drove a 1999 Malibu, my family bought it new in Dec 1998. I got it in 2003 with 139,000 miles on it, and proceeded to drive it until May 2010 with a total of 195,000 miles when I traded it in.
I purchased a used 2009 Malibu Hybrid. I had not planned this purchase, I was looking for cars and an ad popped up for this car and I saw it and went "hmmm" I decided to go look at it and two days later it was mine. Best part was the price, it was used, originally purchased Sept 2009. Went back to the dealer with 2700 miles on it in November 2009. By the time I took delivery it had 3700 miles on it. I got a great deal because it was used, even though it was barely used.
I have already added a few of my own touches, I have a few more planned but nothing major really. I love this site, it has given me many ideas and lots of guidance for someone who hasn't done any major mods to cars before. The extent of my knowledge before consisted of regular maintenance for my 1999 and that was about it.
I miss my old malibu, but love my new one.
