Ya' know... I considered a new Maxx SS in '06. The dealer had a sweet black one sitting in the showroom,they are great looking cars. I was kinda bummed that it didn't have a manual transmission though. Ended up going with a Cobalt SS instead.

It'll be the family mover. I was really impressed with the interior space and the DVD player will keep the kids quite. I've never been sold on SUV's, and this has just as much room inside without being too big outside.
Hi there! Glad to hear someone else has a "new to me Maxx", mine is a '05. I also was really not happy with the whole SUV and "crossover" vehicles, as well as the prices! Got a great deal on mine. Just wanting to spruce it up a little. This is my first post on a forum site. I just joined today. I LOVE the available space for hubby & I to pickup goodies at Home Depot without hitting up a family member to use their truck! It also has a nice smooth ride and when I have to taxi around my 90yr old mom with severe scoliosis, etc, she can get in and out unassisted and she loves that little bit of independence! Only had "Maxx" for 3 months and I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. This week is tint job! (totally necessary here in Vegas)
