Take note - Chevrolet changed the wiper arm attachments from the standard hook attachments to a newer-style push button attachment on Gen 7's. Do not just measure the lengths of the wipers and go out and buy them - not all wiper blades adapt to these newer-style arms. The "Trico NeoForm Beam Blade" is available in 24" & 21" that fit the push button arms. Available online - just make sure you punch in the right make/model/year to make sure you get the right lengths and mount.

Thanks for the info! I had to buy mine from the dealer last year. I like having another source available.

I had a hell of a time finding replacements back in late 08/early 09 when I needed to swap em. Found it easier (and cheaper) to just replace the "rubber blade" than the whole thing.

Just bought tricos' the other day for mine from advance auto parts. It came with a few different adapters to make it a universal blade. They work nice too and cheaper than the dealer.

Yeah, the Trico Tech's had the adapter system. The Trico NeoForms actually have a specific blade for that mount (so no adapters). There is a $10 rebate on the Techs and a $15 rebate on the NeoForms, so the NeoForms were actually a better deal even though they're top-of-the-line. https://www.wipers123.com/product_d...008&yearhid=2008&model=Malibu&modelhid=Malibu

I wish I would have seen that before. Oh well, I really needed blades and it was going to rain. I am not sure why I waited till the last minute. Anyways, I love Trico, I have had them on most of my cars, the one time I tried the overrated Bosch icons I ended up really disappointed. The trico's last a whole lot longer.

I think most people tend to react (ie when it rains) vs. preventatively replacing them (ie scheduled maintenance). Thats why I started going online because I'm like everybody else and when it rains, I'd want to buy wipers but since most vehicles take the same common 4-6 sizes, they were usually out of stock (because the rain triggered everyone else too). I usually order them every 6 or 9 months when I receive the replacement reminder email. That way I'm ahead of the game.

That's how it goes for the parts stores. I generally don't wait till it rains since I don't like doing things at the last minute, but I had just bought the car and I was on my way home. I didn't know it needed blades, lol. Normally I am really good about maintenance so I don't have these problems.
