I have a 2.4 engine and would like to know what tool to use to open the oil filter cap. It is very tight quarters and I was wondering if anybody had any good ideas on what to use. Are there any other ideas on changing the oil and filter.

Got mine from Amazon, search for Lisle 14700 Oil Filter Wrench for GM 2.2L.

You got to use a shallow socket. I got mine at autozone for like $4 on sale.
