OnStar has a renewal promotion on the Safe and Sound Plan for $12.95/month.
The regular monthly rate is $18.95.
The Malibu comes with a one year Direction & Connection plan for free. Sorry but I forgot to ask what the promotional rate was on this plan.

I have Safe and Sound on my 08 Equinox and it is the same as Direction & Connection, except it does not have the Navigation option.

Which is the whole point of upgrading to Direction & Connection haha.

That is no new promotion, however... I've always gotten 12.95/month.. that's if you enroll in a multi-year package..

Of course now that I don't have a traditional navigation system, I have stepped up to and will keep the Direction & Connection package.

I did not have to enroll in a muti-year package for the $12.95/month fee.
