16 year old car-best to get it evaluated/diagnosed by a trusted & competent mechanic or reputable Chevy dealership (more $ but maybe better option)I just was informed by the previous owner that while she was driving the car one day it just shut off. Lost all power. She tried restarting it and taking the battery cables off and back and it didn't have anything. But when they got home(trailered) and tried starting in the morning, it started up with no issue at all whatsoever other than the gas gauge issue.
