After seeing a member's car with 18" G6 wheels, I fell in love.

I recently found a guy that has four OEM 18"x7" Pontiac G6 wheels (just wheels and center caps, no tires). The wheels are used and do have some scratches an so on, so I'm wondering how much I should pay.

The bad part is that they have to be shipped which will drive the price up. I asked his if he would do all four for $300 shipped, and he came back with $350 shipped. I was thinking I would give him a final offer of $325 shipped, that's a number I feel pretty comfortable at.

My question is, is this a good price? Or should I keep looking for a better deal?

I want to keep my whole setup less than $800 (wheels, tires, TPMS, installation)

Thanks everyone

In my opinion, that is a great deal at $350 shipped. Assuming the rims are not bent or the scratches are not severe.
Remember that these rims will fit perfectly (no hub rings, spacers, etc) and balancing them will be a breeze.

I was looking at a set near where I live and the best price I could get was $400. I ended up going with some aftermarket 19's.

I say pull the trigger!!!

Thanks for that. The scratches don't look too bad, but they are used... And he said there are no bends whatsoever.

I wanted 19's, but I was turned off by how much the tires would be. Where did you get your ASA's from?

Wow . not too bad....almost like an SS wheel.

If they aren't in too bad of shape i say go for it....you can always have them powder coated for pretty cheap.
Yeah, powder coating is always an option. I'm going for a sport/SS look... I want something that looks sporty and I can keep on all year.

Guy backed out last minute. Oh well.

New plan: lower my Malibu first, then wait to get my hands on a set of 2013 Malibu LTZ 19" 5-spoke rims! I hear they are going to be sold starting in January 2012, so that will give me some time to save up because I bet they will be expensive!!
