Did the '08 & '09's have a power lumber control? I looked in the owner's manual for those years and they only show a manual lumbar control.

The 2010's come with a power lumbar control.

I agree... I tinkered with it for a solid 10 minutes once, about a month into ownership, and haven't touched it since. Seat is comfy though.

If you havent toyed with it yet, i suggest you sit back adn take 5 minutes to put it up, down, etc... and pick the best spot.

P.S: How do you get the originally posted by... quote function to work!!!

Set it and forgot it. Manual adjust in mine.
Yeah, it seems that was one of the changes for 2010 - a power lumbar control. As a result, the buttons for the seat heater, power lumbar adjustment, and power seat adjustment are right next to eachother, so you have to make sure you're pushing the right button.

The position of power seat adjusters have changed for the better and for the worse. I had 3 cars successively with power seat adjusters in different locations. '90 Eldorado had it on the driver and passenger armrest (not bad), '95 Eldorado had it in the same location as the Malibu, '99 Deville had metaphoric controls on the door just below the window. I like the '99 Deville setup the most - the controls mirrored the shape of the seat and they were in a very convenient location, plus the control lit up at night. The later Caddy's put the controls back where the Malibu has them. This must be a cost cutting measure - (don't have to route wiring, etc.), because this is far from the best location for the seat adjusters.
