I have a 2010 Chevy Malibu ltz I've been having a problem with my seat belt light coming on every now and then and also my lower steering would not work when I get in and start the car I would shut it off and restart it and it would be fine for awhile it's happen twice now. Any thought maybe the computer is bad I checked the fluid and all the linkage???

There is a recall on the occupancy sensors (seat belt issue).
The steering issue is likely the torque angle sensor in the column.
Fix is column replacement.
