I have a 2009 Malibu LT with the 2.4L 4cyl engine.
-Recently upon startup, my dash displays the messages “POWER STEERING”, “SERVICE ESC” . Sometimes I can turn the car off and on to make them go away, however after a short time they will pop back up , and my power steering will stop working. Also, my steering wheel stutters/vibrates while idle / driving. I have had a recall for the EPS done on my car before , when my car was having the same issue. However, now my car is experiencing this again. Any ideas on what the issue could be? I’d take it to my loca dealership however they want $75 just to diagnose it, which is outrageous.
