My car has the premium mat package. What's the difference between the regular floor mats and the premium? From what I see, there's a trunk mat and the front floor mats say "Malibu" in silver letters from top to bottom.
Any other differences?

My standard mats are just mats, no lettering. I have carpeting in the trunk (no letters), but no mat on top of anything.

What do you need those for? There is no snow in Vegas LOL. :p
But plenty of oil on these darn streets and parking lots. You should have seen my OEM mats a couple of months after we bought it.

I have the premium and the GM All-weather mats. I put rubber mats in all my vehicles, no matter if it is used or new. This will save your carpet and keep your original mats from wearing out and getting dirty. I have the GM All-weather mats in front and the GM all-weather in the rear. They look good and dress-up the inside. Every dealership that have bought vehicles from, they have mentioned how clean my cars are when they looked at them. Some dealerships had even gave me a little more for my trade-in when I was ready to buy a new car because of taking so good care of the car. All weather mats have helped along with good maintenance for getting top dollar for trade-in value.

My last car had Cashmere mats - that's a light beige. You want to talk about mats getting filthy, try getting this color. I couldn't understand why Cadillac would put this color mat in their car. I had them cleaned on enumerable occasions and they still looked dirty afterwards. Also, the interior was the same color as the mats, so it would have been nice if they had put in mats with a contrasting color such as dark brown.

I'm really happy my Malibu has black mats. They seem to stay much better looking.
