Let me say first I am so glad to find this site! I have a 2006 Malibu SS with the six disc CD player and XM satellite radio. I cannot figure how to display the complete name of the song when listening to XM radio. It is the same with artists that have long names. Only about the first 10 or 12 characters appear on the display. Is there a way to make the display scroll so all the info is available? Also my AM radio reception has really gotten poor over the last year or so. Could this be an antenna connection?

Thanks, Jim

If it is like the 2008-Up, you can't I even called GM tech support and they told me nope. One scroll, then it will only show what fits. I hate it like that, the Alpine in my Camaro will scroll and scroll.

I've never seen mine scroll. Also, if you look, the display on ours has the artist and title reversed from what it should be. When a certain station uses the two lines to make a short statement it's obvious that it's backwards. I can verify that because I have an accessory Sirius satellite tuner. On the same station the Sirius reads correctly. It also scrolls one or both lines as needed. Plus this model has the added features of being able to replay up to the last 44 minutes of live radio, and it remembers up to 30 artists or titles, alerts me when it's on another station, and gives me the option to switch over to it.

Thanks for the replies! I tried every combination of buttons I could think of to make it scroll. It's hard to believe GM cars would have radios without this feature. Now if I can find why my AM reception has turned so lousy I would be a bit happier.

Thanks again!

Jim
