If I was to install a amp on my interior speakers, would I have to install a crossover in between the front 6.5 and the tweeter on the door.
If its factory speakers I wouldn't, that would be the amp's job. I'd just control the balance between the mid's and high's using the headunit.

Alot of component speakers now will come with crossovers built in, or supply you with two per set.

Basically what I was asking is will tweeters blow out if you put the on an amp?
If they are stock, you could put an amp on them to give them a cleaner signal, which will allow you to turn them up a little louder. That being said I wouldn't give them too much juice, keep the gain down as the speakers are most likely made of primarily paper.

The stock tweeters already have a "crossover" on them, but both the front 6.5 and the tweeter on the door have a limit as to how much power they can handle. They are matched to each other, and the factory head unit. Factory speakers are never designed to have additional power applied to them (they would cost more). So you have as much chance of damaging the 6.5 with more power, as you do the tweeter, the crossover is not the problem......Good luck!!
