Is there a message on the DIC or any lights on the instrument panel or DIC? It's probably a bad switch inside the front driver door latch assembly.

7” it has no other errors or codes. The driver front window has stop working also. I replaced the window switch and still not working. I assumed these issues are not connected because the rest of the windows are working.

Door harness in hinge area needs to be inspected for broken wires is what I suspect.

Sorry I took so long to reply. I could not find any broken wires in the door jam area. Behind the rubber boot. Again my symptoms are as follows. Radio and accessory lights won’t turn off when car is off and door is opened also driver front window not working. I have changed the accessory relay and window switch.

Any fix for your problem? I have the same and my interior lights don’t come on with the drivers door as well all happened at the same time.

Sounds like the door jamb switch has failed, or the wires to the switch have failed. I haven't investigated how the malibu detects the door is open, but most cars have a door jamb switch.

In the Gen7 models, and possibly before, the door jamb switch, door ajar switch, lock motor, and latch are all one assembly. It's likely that the newer models use a similar means.

I can't find any photos or instructions on how to fix the door jamb switch if that's the problem online. Info would be greatly appreciated!
All Data DIY dot com is a good resource. Other members have used it and found it to have a lot of stuff at an affordable cost.

All of that is controlled by the door latch. There are switches incorporated in the latch for door ajar, lights, etc. It send signals to the BCM.
