I have an 08 LTZ with the "premium" monsoon sound system. It sounds great with the exception of the rear speaker shelf. As most here know, it's made of plastic (lovely idea GM) and rattle terribly with anything more than minimal bass. Has anyone fixed this? I could use some pics on how to take the rear shelf apart as well as where I need to add padding/dynamat. I found a thread where someone had put dynamat throughout his entire Bu, but there weren't clear instructions on the rear shelf. Any help would be great!

I had my Bu outfitted with Dynamat, including the rear deck/shelf, it still will make noise here and there.
I also have noise at the moon roof where the rubberish plastic strip goes around it hiding the cut off sections of the headliner.

Are you able to tell exactly where the noises are coming from in the rear, rear shelf. Are you able to apply pressure somewhere to stop the noise. As you may be able to correct it by other means without having to install Dynamat.
