I bought a new '09 Malibu 2LT, V6, 6 speed in January. This car is the nicest I have ever owned. My previous cars have been foreign base model commuters.
I am not to keen with the transmission. It has a hesitation at certain speeds and seems to go into 6th to early. As well as not dropping out of 6th soon enough(i.e. climbing a hill).
I read a post somewhere here, but I can't find it now, about re flashing the computer. Will re-flashing the computer fix the "to early" and "to late" problem?
I know this is set up for fuel economy but I don't like the feel of it. Can I get some advice from some of you, who may have already re-flashed the computer?

Hey BLUE-BU, if you do happen to go through with the install, since you won't report on it, you think you could send an email or something to me. I am going to research this more with GM before I do anything. I don't want to void my warranty.
