Probably moisture in the brake cables freezing them. I never use the parking brake in below freezing temps, a lesson I learned years ago when I first started snowmobiling.

They replaced the emergency brake cable. This car has the electric brake emergency brake the one yea it was made. Hmmm.馃. They claim the cable was rusted. After replacing 3 rear calipers. Now I鈥檝e still got to replace the rear brake pads and rotors. Again for the pads.

Good point, though I鈥檝e never had this problem with any of my other cars. It would鈥檝e been nice if they鈥檇 have suspected this as a potential problem and maybe lubed the cable one one of the many visits for the same problem.

Glad they (hopefully) finally found the cause.
