If seeking info on recalls, bulletins, or even have a complaint, check out the NHTSA website.

If you visit the link below, you can search by make, model, year, and by VIN. Searching by VIN will show matching recalls and bulletins (found under "Manufacturer Communications" tab). However, when seeking bulletin info I usually search by make, model, year as it produces more thorough results. When searching for bulletins you can sort by affected system and view the document which sometimes has detailed repair instructions.

Visit the NHTSA website here: NHTSA Vehicle Information
Recall and special coverage adjustments (as well as a lot of other info) can also be found on the my.chevrolet.com website.

Bulletins are for reference only and generally not applicable to DIYers. Bulletins usually pertain to a specific set of vehicles exhibiting a specific behavior. A bulletin doesn't necessarily mean an issue is common or relates to your vehicle. Use publicly available bulletins if your dealer or independent shop cannot correct an issue or locate information on their own.
