Hey guys,

where do most of you run the power wire though the firewall at? is there a grommet thats easialy accessed, or do you just drill a hole? I dotn like drilling holes in cars of which i know little about the interior plumbing.

Thanks,

Most cars have a rubber grommet on the driver's side. Usually there is a big bundle of wires that go through. I'm not sure about Malibus. You might need to drill a hole and seal it with some silicone. Usually there is enough room to make a hole to push the wire through next to the bundle of wires.
Be sure to add a fuse or circuit breaker close to the battery. I've seen where wires have shorted out and caused fires if they don't have a fuse or circuit breaker. I prefer to use a fuse.
