I start noticing little sport of rust around door edges, especially at places very close to the road ( where sheet of metal bended ) and trunk door has rusting bubbles . Some places around wheels has rust bubbles as well.

So question is how I can stop, slowdown rusting process of doors and under the car? Can I use some kinda coating over door paint around dor edges? Is there anything that will create some kinda layer which when dry will be flexible but protect doors from rusting even more?

Rust proofing it now would be a waste of money, once the cancer starts it's pretty much over, only way to remove it is to cut it out or blast it

MAXX 2005, 110k now. Didn't do any rust proofing before.

gm has a rust policy...for some reason i thought it was 8 years...but there may be a miliage thingy on there too.. might want to look that up

I would like to know what is definition of Rust-Through ?

True, it also starts at the bottom and works it way up through the car. fix the underside of your car first.
