Seat Covers

Head Curtain side-impact bags are mounted in the roof rails.

Side-Impact Thorax bags are front seat mounted.

Ok...now i know something new. I may pick these up then.

Maybe I worded that wrong. The side-impact Thorax bag is mounted in the seat, so it would be best to not cover it.
Seems like I remember seeing a plastic panel on the side of the front seats that cover this bag. The car is my wife's, so I can not go out and look at it now.

Ok that must be what I saw on the seat....i guess i shouldn't get them. Maybe I'll write them and see what they say. I wonder if it really matters...i would think that those air bags blow out with such pressure that they would burst through any stiched material.

I was considering getting some seat covers but concerned that they would cover the side airbags...at least I believe they're on the seat. Are they? Or are they actually on the pillar?

Just watch on ebay for a set of stock leather seat skins or something

There was a set on ebay a couple weeks ago that someone on the Aura forum was watching.
Just take off the stock seat (cloth) covers & then replace them with the new leather covers....if you want it to look nice

I'm not a big fan of leather...especially here in Florida. Sitting on a leather seat that's been baking in 100 degree weather just doesn't feel right.

So the dude replied to me email and said that the seat covers are not designed for side airbags that come from the seat. Does anyone know of any that do?
