Just wanted to post a pic of my car taken at a local car show!
This is the first show the car has been in and I was pleased to receive numerous
complements from a bunch of people!
The only new bodied malibu at the show! I had to slap the old dubs back on to get her down low! Lol

Around here, you'd lose that front fender the first road you drove on.

How'd you do in the show?
LOL, exactly. Stock clearance is tight enough in Chicagoland for me. And I mean it is tight at times. Like on normal streets having to avoid potholes and leaving parking lots at an angle to prevent huge bottoming out. also speeding up certain hills to "jump" over the top of up ramps (else the center of the car would get stuck.)

I've seen lots of crazy things on the roads here haha. The front end scrape sound always makes me cringe though, especially a pretty girl in a really nice Bimmer or Merc.

Wow! Ok note to self drive around Indiana when traveling! Lol

I just went to be a spectator at the show and one of the guy's who belonged to a huge car club saw me park and he walked over and asked me if I wanted to be in the show I said sure! he got me in I parked with the rest of his crew. I'm fairly new to the car show scene I still need to do some more stuff to get it really ready like dress up the engine bay and install a nice little system a few other things in time I will get some trophies! But overall I had a great time!

I still love your car, more so with it sitting so low. Yeah, avoid Indiana and Illinois or be cautious especially around winter and spring when the snow is gone but the craters from the winter are there. I see a lot of bent wheels at work, lol. That's pretty cool that someone came up to you to see if you wanted to be in the show.

Really it's that bad over yonder? Damn that sucks. You know come to think of it that is pretty badass that some stranger came up to me and asked if I wanted to be in the show!

Thanks for the comment!

I like those 6-spoker tuning fork wheels. Wow, you were just there as a spectator and were invited to park inside with the guys. Cool!

As always, the car is looking great. I'm hoping to put the 4cyl H&R springs on my car in the future to lower it a little bit, of course it won't be as low as yours but think it will make it look better than stock ;)

Ya (DrivenDaily) Those wheels are still going strong! Took them off and put back the 22's
I will be putting the 20's on craigslist really soon!
Ya it was a great show and now it went from cool to awesome got a text today from one of the members and he said that the car club wants me to go to another show with them in San Diego over the weekend!
