I qualify as an old fuddy duddy to some, but taste knows no age. I've thought about getting something similar, so my vote is YES. Get the kit, and get the color you want. The important thing to me would be if it adds to the overall image of the car and isn't just another piece of bling.

The idea I have for mine is to put lights behind the brake calipers shining on the inside rim of the wheels - red at the rear, amber at the front. And maybe even hook 'em up to the turn signals!

I like em but not necessarily in those positions under the car. What color are you going with bro?

EDIT: $10 more. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/4pc-...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

AND.. If you don't like wires, go wireless. http://www.ledunderbody.com/green-ledglow-4pc-wireless-led-underbody-neon-lighting-kit.aspx

LMAO ^
that is fkn sick lol.

and silver LTZ. I'm not buying them to drive around with to look good. I need a lot of glow on my car for car shows/meets that are at night. Everything on my car is blacked out so it could only help me imo.

The white would look great on your car and if you have a system, the LED's for the wheels can be programed to light with sound, movement, etc. (I'm assuming you guys probably chill in a parking lot like they do here?)

Underbody lights are nice when they light the whole underside of the car. You should do some lights behind the grill, like some black light.

There is a proper way to do under glow lights and that is not it heh. Make sire the bulb is not showing at all and also make sure the bulbs glow under the car and not out the sides like that with black gaps under the car. if done right it looks good but still out of style. When I had my Cavalier the light shined all under the car and no bulbs were visible. The light also only came out from under the car maybe an inch or so.

I'd like to tie these into the courtesy lamp circuit & use them like a puddle lamp on steroids. But for 50 bucks it's hard to imagine they would last very long anywhere but in a desert climate.

LEDs last nearly forever. The ones he linked to are also inside a clear tube. The life should be quite long, so long as the LEDs are a good or better quality, but you wouldn't know that until they did/didn't last.

Sounds pretty cool. I have seen lights under cars before here in CT. but I think the State had Banned them. Here in CT. you get caught with them on, you will get fined. Car show's might be a whole different story?
No legal authority can keep you from displaying lights on private property. If you have a parade permit for a public street/highway then that is permitted as well, only during the parade. (Not a lawyer, just things ya learn over the years.)

Also going to add that the y may be poorly sealed cause every under glow kit is sealed in a tube but not all are completely sealed and leak. I have had many kits over the years and I will never do anything less then street glow gold line.

And more to add on the legal stuff. DO not used red blue or green in the street. Or anything that flashes. Red, blue and flashing can land you a impersonating a police officer ticket and green are emergency vehicles. It is best just to avoid using them on a public street or while in motion.
