Can you shift the six speed transmission fron D (drive) to M (manual) or from M (manual) to D (drive) when the car is moving around 30 to 40 miles an hour. If so going 35 miles mph and shifting from (drive) to (manual) does the transmission stay in the gear it was in when in the drive mode.

I have had no issues shifting between manual and automatic modes and different speeds

When you move it to M the trans stays in the gear unless you shift it out or unless the speed slows too much. When I first got mine I thought it was like my old '97 Grand Prix. When I put it in low and romped on it, it would shift up if the engine speed was too great. Not the 'Bu. Put it in M and shift to 1 from a dead stop then goose it and you'll redline it and stay there until you shift it or put it in D.
