On the 08 malibu, How does that chrome mesh overlay grill look? is it cheap looking or does it show the undergoing grill much or at all?

i recently messed my grill up and its chipped up in some places. I was wondering if this would be a good thing to put over it and it still look nice and classy.

Myself, I don't like them. They show alot of the OEM grille underneath and kinda look cheap. But it is all just my opinion on the ones I have seen.

If the grill that is underneath is the problem, before the install just paint it black. That way all you really see is the overlaying "new" grill and the OEM won't be as visible.

Well my Bu grille had got hit by a buggie at my local grocery store. So what i did was bought the overlay grille off ebay for about 80 bucks and it looks great. It snaps on the factory grille and it doesnt show it at all. I have the LT so of course my grille is black but if u feel it will show up on there then paint the grille black like ELCOMPOLALO said but it doesnt show on mine. I will post some pics in the morning becuz its 1 oclock in the morning where i am now

See here is my grille overlay and it doesnt show the stock grille at all and to me it looks betta than the LTZ especially when the sun hits it

Thanks man i got it off ebay for about 80 bucks and it snaps right on top of the grille.....i also purchased the chrome door handles too they stick to the handles with the 3M tape......here is a picture just in case anyone wants to try it
