I would also like to know what everyone's take on the best strut brands, also, what the factory strut expected life is. My 2012 has a small clatter when going over bumps, mostly noticeable on continuous small bumps. I ruled out the sway bar links already, as I changed them out for all metal ones because I didn't like the plastic ones that were on there (just had a hard time with having an all plastic suspension component). Next will be a little more diagnosis that I'm thinking is going to end up in a pair of new struts. But the car has only 60k miles, it seems that the factory struts should still be fine. Although, after experiencing a dual front wheel bearing failure at 30k miles it wouldn't surprise me. :serious:

Thanks, for wrote your history. I read that We have to chage strus at 50,000 miles. I have the same problem I think that myh struts are well but the car has a little clatter, and has some rolling when turn the car.

Thanks for all

I'm doing Bilsteins....
I tried to buy some Bilstein but Bilsten told me that they do not do any strut to Malibu Gen 8, but some deales in Mexico take your old strut and use the shell (I do not right name shell or leg) and put a new bilstein, but I do not like transformation or adaptation, In Mexico the only choice I have is Monroe Spectrum and I am going to buy them.
