Just have a little experince to share. So here in Los Angeles its been in the 100's for the past few days and my car is doing pretty well with the a/c being on, but today I was entering a fairly steep freeway intrance and it seemed as if the car would not make it haha. But then again it is a 4 cilinder. Anyone else have similiar experinces?

It's been about the same temperature here on the east coast and I've been using the A/C quite often. I was quite surprised that the A/C does not drain much power from the 4 cylinder. Every so often, if the engine is running on the hot side, I will notice a slight loss in power, but I believe that's more due to the heat, not the A/C. But I've had this same issue with my last 6 cylinder if the engine was running on the hot side.

Yes, definitely! Happens a few times a day actually. Seems like I wanna go but the car hesitates so I let off on the gas and take it easy for a bit. I don't worry about it because I know that the conditions are terrible, 114 outside with a few people in the car and the AC full blast.............its expected.

The temps here are "only" in the 90's, but the humidity is above 70%! It's just too friggin' stuffy!

Running the AC here makes condensation on the outside of the windshield! Never had that happen in California or Oregon. Only heard about it 'til now.

I've gotten that a few times down here when the humidity outside is really high and you have the A/C cranking. Pretty common on houses, stores, hotels too. It's from the big difference in temps on both sides of the glass.

If you have the ac right when you pu it in drive and start to coast, ive also noticed my I4, and my last car, a V6, the AC makes the engine surge a bit to compensate. Also happens when you come to a quick stop from a period where you'd had at least 30% throttle.
