Thanks will this cause any safety problem?No, the roll/sway bar is not supposed to contact the control arm. It has shifted to one side. Perhaps the bushings have become worn and allowed it to creep to the side. Should be able to loosen the bushing clamps and shift the bar back to the center. New bushings may be required to keep it there.
If you have changed the sway bar end links to an incorrect length, this may also cause the problem but it would contact the control arms on both sides.
I believe this problem has come up on this forum in the past. A search of this forum may come up with more detailed cures for this problem.
