Hi. My sway bar was shifting to the drivers side.. it was sliding within the bushings and brackets. This resulted in a shorter space between sway bar and the lower control arm on the passenger side and eventually caused some rubbing and a gouge on the lower control arm (aluminum vs steel).. I unbolted the bracket so that I could slide the bar within the bushings and put it closer to the passenger side.. It happened again, but left a centimeter between the passenger side lower control arm and the sway bar. This time I decided to buy a plastic collar to be used as a spacer to go between the outmost right ear/shelf of the sway bar and the sway bar bracket on the passenger side. That way the sway bar can't slide towards to the driver's side. The outermost ear keeps presses against he plastic collar and stops thr sway bar from moving left.. The plastic collar is secured sliding right because of the bracket and its bolts into the subframe..
Link to the collar:

I had to cut part of the lower piece of the collar off so that it would fit next to the sway bar bushing bracket...I chose a plastic collar since I didn't want aluminum to be rubbing on steel and it is easier for me to cut the plastic lower half to make it fit the space by the subframe near the bracket. It fit just perfectly in the space between the right most ear and the sway bar bushing bracket.. I will let you know how it goes after driving it for some time..

Mine didn't improve when I replaced the sway bar bushings. At the time mine were actually just replaced. It could have been from oil contamination which reduced the ability of the bushings to grip the sway bar, but the clamping force should have kept it in place. It didn't. That is why I installed the spacer.
