Well I just replaced my rear left tailight today, I thought the tailamp warning feature was pretty cool. Anyways I succeeded replacing the light but not without some damage. (Need to read the owners maunal first next time) The lens got cracked, is it possible to just buy the plastic part? All i see online is the whole housing.

Nope. You need to replace the entire housing. I guess you discovered too late that there are 3 wing nuts behind the carpet, huh? Sorry to hear that. How badly is it cracked? And where? Take a pic and post it. Someone on here might have a miracle to share.

Unfortunately I believe your only recourse is going to be to buy the whole housing. E-bay time my friend.

You may be able to make it look BETTER, but to make it unnoticable (especially to you) i agree it will require replacement.

If you're looking for a good repair kit, search for headlights (not taillights) as that's how they're all marketed. It may be able to do some good at the surface level depending on the type of scratch.
Also, you could try some agressive use of Plexus which may smooth things over or a nexus plastic repair product. The kits are basically a Nexus scratch repair product(but lower quality) and some various grit sandpaper (400,1200, and maybe a 2000)

Good luck and a pic would assist greatly as was said.

On another note... now might be a good time to upgrade to LTZ tail lamps. They look so much better than the LS/LT ones.
