I'm trying to talk my wife into letting me black out her car. I'm planning on painting her 17's gloss black and taking off all her chrome including window trim and painting it black too. How does everybody think that will look? Here's how her car sits now.

-How does the window trim come off?
-How do you take off the rear side markers and markers on the front fenders?

If anybody has blacked out any of their chrome please post some pictures.

I know this is flat black and yours is a glossy black but it would look something like this! I say go for it!

paint the rims a flat black and leave the car the glossy black or whatever color it is... that will make it look good in my opinion....

Not a fan of the flat or semi-gloss paint on such a beautiful car. But each has their own taste.

Not gothic by NO means I just lke standing out from the rest of the Malibu's I guess lol. That flat black BU is awesome but not really looking to spend a whole lot of money into her car because I'd like to buy her a Tahoe in a year or so. Got any more pics of that BU JramzLTZ? Your car looks awesome man!

I saw that one at the Chi auto show. that Malibu is unbelievable i want to paint the headlight housings white like that one........but that's a little above my skill level

I have been looking at painting all my chrome the same color as the car for a while now. I just have not gotten into figuring out how to get the chrome window surrounds off.

Does anyone have a closeup of those headlights? I bought a headlight off ebay for 30 bucks to experiment. I want to paint the chrome in the housings like the one above but I wanted to see what they did and did not paint for ideas

In the process of painting my stock wheels flat black , blacking out emblems, and tinting windows 20 % . Eventually will get flat black vinyl strip and black out tail and head lights. Pics coming soon!!
