You just spray it into the throttle body while it is running, and rev it a little as your doing it. It cleans the TB, and the intake etc....they sell a pour in one too if it's really dirty.Just spray the top half of the engine?![]()
Hey SilverLTZ! Don't mean to get off the subject, but my zip is 75104. I couldn't find the thread about your rims. Sorry. You just spray it into the throttle body while it is running, and rev it a little as your doing it. It cleans the TB, and the intake etc....they sell a pour in one too if it's really dirty.
Here is the thread, I just lowered the price too. My new wheels are ordered.Hey SilverLTZ! Don't mean to get off the subject, but my zip is 75104. I couldn't find the thread about your rims. Sorry.
Youd be surprised how much gunk gets on the back of the TB. It adds up for sure. Its not hard to clean a TB and I wouldnt pay the stealership $100 to do it.Or, you could not worry about it and the car will never know the difference. These kind of services are mostly to give the dealer a revenue source. I run 50K plus per year, run my cars 200K plus and NEVER have cleaned a throttle body with no repercussions. My cars run as well at 200K as when new. They don't make them like they used to, thank heaven!
