If they are putting Hankooks on some of the 18's now, get those. Good Year overall is a very good tire company, the LS2 just happens to suck.
Silver, What don't you like about them? I have around 8000 miles on mine and so far they seem pretty good in wet and dry traction. I will be up grading when I need tires though.

I have a 4-cylinder, but mine came with 225/50r17 Hankook Optimas. They are good tires, very quiet, nice ride, and good in the rain when going down the highway. But when the roads in my subdivison are damp they push really bad in corners and I am only going like 20 or 25 MPH. They have lasted a long time though, I have 40,000 miles on my car, and they look almost new. I do rotate every other oil change though.

Most likely the Good Year Eagle LS2. Not the best tire, that is for sure.

You are correct sir. Although they are 100% better than the original eagle LS. Those tires werent good for anything but smoke.

I've had them on two cars. Both cars had radial run out on at least one tire. They have out of round issues, and can become noisy. Plus the offer little to no performance. The actually get pretty bad reviews as well. I have Good Year Eagle F1's on my Camaro, and they are great. So they can make a good tire, the LS2 is just not one of them.
