Okay so I have a 2019 Malibu Lt and my wife had got a flat on passenger side right tire and same exact day had oil change done (about 3 days ago) so I found some wheels with tires already mounted on them so I went ahead and bought them and after installing them on my car everything seemed to be fine and I waited for her to come home and was heading to have them relearned yesterday and got half a mile down the road and a message come up that read low oil pressure so I pulled it over and checked the oil which was changed a few days ago and the dipstick showed normal oil levels with nice clean new oil so I turned it around and took it back to the house. So my question is did I need something up within the combustion or something by changing the wheels? Read my owner manual and can’t find anything stating it could do with it but changing could have effects on other parts of it. Has anyone else ever had this happen before? If I get new tires on the original wheel will it fix this issue? Or is my oil pressure sensor burned up? Thanks in advance for any information you could provide.

Got that message once when it was extremely cold outside; oil levels were normal.

Check the oil level after the engine has been off for at least 5-10 minutes. While driving, even being under-filled will slosh oil all over, including the dipstick.

When you pull it out, wipe it clean, insert it, wait a couple seconds, then pull it out and check the level.

Yes I know how to check my oil and I left it sit over night and checked it again. Still “ - - oil pressure” as well as the one tire pressure is on 1. I’ll be taking it to the tire shop in a little while and I’ll see if getting new tire and get them “relearned” does it. If not then next stop will be local dealership
