As much as we liked our Saturn Aura, the idea of hanging onto a car from a company that doesn't exist anymore really didn't thrill me. The solution? Trade it in and get a 2010 Malibu LTZ which is mostly the same car. The 3.5L V6 in the Aura wasn't doing us any favors for gas milage in the city (which accounts for about 95% of our driving) so we stuck with the 4-cyl in the Malibu and so far I'm fairly impressed. Since we went with black granite metallic and ebony interior we're loving the tint to the rear windows to cut down on the heat when the car is sitting outside and the 6-speed transmission seems to be really great at highway speeds as it's very quiet. This is also the first car I've ever bought where I used a clay bar and a random orbit buffer on it so the results are a really beautiful shine to the paint job. All in all, we're very happy and glad to be part of the community. I look forward to reading all the how-to's and tips on the site.
