How hard is it to change the rear spark plugs and wires on a 2005 Chevy Malibu LS the front ones are easy to get to
I'm guessing you have the 3100? I had a grand am with the 3400 and they weren't too bad to change. It's a little tight back there, but they are accessible without removing anything. Good luck

David B. No I have the 3500 I edited my post because I thought I put that in my post
The 3500 engine isn't much different just a little more advanced than the older 3100 and 3400 motors. If you take the plastic engine cover off you should be able to get behind the motor and get the plugs out. I'm not sure where the coil packs are located on that motor but you may have to move them to give you more room.
