Yes, and it's with the Hazzard switch on the dash, which is also the turn signal flasher. GM had a TSB on this issue and it covered several years of the Malibu, it's only about a $20.00 part and is easy enough to replace by popping off the trim piece the Hazzard switch is in and popping the switch out from the back and unplugging the old one to plug in the new and reinstall.
