Vibration and road noise?

I have been picking up a vibration and sounds that seem to follow. Its starts to get louder around 30 mph and fades out when I turn to the right or changes lanes to the right, and when turning or changing lanes to the left its almost twice as loud. I thought it may have been the tires, but I rotated the ones from the back with less than 5k mi on them to the front and it hasent changed. Anyone ever get this or know how to get rid of it?

You posted that you "lost a boot on the pass. side axle the other day" in the "Need to change c/v axles" thread. It sounds like the CV joint on that side is about ready to let go ("turning or changing lanes to the left its almost twice as loud"). I'd be hesitant to drive it in that condition. If you need a DIY how-to on the axle, get a repair manual (Chilton or Hayens) or subscription to online DIY sites like alldatadiy.com or eautorepair.net.
