For about 8 months we're getting a whine/squeal just turning left.
~50K miles.
Don't get it in the driveway, needs a little speed.
Took to a local shop I've had good luck with, they drove with me, looked at it, couldn't find anything. (Didn't charge me anything). He looked in a database they buy or use, and couldn't find any hints.
Anybody have this problem?

Turning left loads the right front wheel hub bearing more. Usually those bearings do not make any noise at slow speed.
Most shops look for play in the hub bearing for confirmation bearing is bad as they are sealed units before changing it.
They can make noise for a while before getting any ''play'' in them.
I'm guessing local guy wants to confirm before replacing any parts, which is a good thing.
